Lance Reddick’s widow Stephanie Reddick pays tribute to late actor – Deadline

Lance Reddick’s widow, Stephanie Reddick, took to social media earlier today to pay tribute to both her late actor husband – who died of natural causes at age 60 on Friday – and all those who loved him.

“Lance was taken from us way too soon,” Stephanie said in a post on her husband’s Twitter and Instagram accounts. โ€œThank you for all of your overwhelming love, support and beautiful stories shared on these platforms over the past day. I see your messages and cannot begin to express how grateful I am to receive them.โ€

Stephanie, who had been married to Lance since 2011, then went on to specifically credit fans of the Destiny video games, for which the actor had played the role of Awoken Guardian Zavala since 2014. special tribute to Lance, thank you,โ€ she wrote. “Lance loved you as much as he loved the game.”

Stephanie Reddick said in closing, “Donations can be made to in Baltimore, his hometown.”

Among the notables commenting on the tribute was Oscar winner Halle Berry, who wrote: โ€œMy love and prayers are with the family at this very sad time. Lance was one of the most genuine people I had ever met. Truly one of a kind! RIP dear king ๐Ÿ‘‘.โ€

Known for his role as Continental Hotel concierge Charon in all four John Wick movies, as well as the upcoming Ana de Armas-led spin-off Ballerina, Lance Reddick turned press for the fourth and final chapter of the Keanu Reeves-led action franchise. the moment the stunning news of his passing came out.

“We are deeply saddened and heartbroken by the loss of our beloved friend and colleague Lance Reddick,” Reeves and John Wick filmmaker Chad Stahelski said in a statement obtained by Deadline yesterday. โ€œHe was the consummate professional and a pleasure to work with. Our love and prayers are with his wife Stephanie, his children, family and friends. We dedicate the film [John Wick: Chapter 4] to his loving memory. We will miss him very much.โ€

Also known for series like The Wire and Fringe, and countless other projects, Reddick also leaves behind projects including 20th’s White Men Can’t Jump reboot for Hulu; an adaptation of the Disney+ series of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, in which he played Zeus; Paramount Global Content Distribution’s New Look at The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial for Showtime; and John Ridley’s Shirley Chisholm biopic Shirley for Netflix, in which he stars alongside Regina King.
